Oftentimes, it is difficult to identify likes and dislikes, interests, hobbies, and life experiences that has shaped one's personality and worldview because these are not everyday topics of discussion. However, these discussions help you get to know yourself and also create meaningful relationships. Self-identity consists of knowing your strengths and limitations and accepting that abilities can be strengthen and limitations can be improved. You have the capacity to evolve into the best version of yourself which encompass self-acceptance, self-compassion, self-respect, self-love, forgiveness, adaptability, and identifying core beliefs. The unhealthy critic that lives in your mind will tell you that "you don't deserve to be happy" and "people do not allow space for change," but invite the healthy and wise mind that tells you "change and growth benefits you, your relationships, future connections, and overall wellness." I encourage you to reflect on the parts of you that brings you joy, the parts that you desire to change, and new parts that you deserve to implement.
